Most Navy SEALs live by the same code and possess the same humble,
noble traits that these medieval knights held so dear.
Never forget that you are a brother to ALL SEALs, whatever you do solely, or as a team, is not for any self-acknowledgment, or award.
All SEALs detest tyranny, and those who make their people suffer under absolute despotism. You were trained to help those who cannot help themselves, and to fight for those who cannot fight for themselves.
A Navy SEALs, lives by a code of honor, and it does not end when we leave the U.S. Navy SEALs
Code of Honor:
NEVER lose faith in GOD.
When you give your word, keep it. It is the essence of who you are.
Tell the truth, even if it means that you will be prosecuted.
Never turn your back on an adversary, stand your ground.
In Combat, Kill the enemy as quickly and as mercifully as Possible… Remember like you, he has loved ones. He is someone’s son, a father, a brother, an uncle, a cousin, or a friend… He is fighting hard for what he believes is right and just…. As are you.
Respect all those who show you respect.
You are Honor bound to help ANYONE who is being oppressed at ANYTIME, by anyone.
Never leave a brother SEAL behind.
Fight until you run out of bullets, take your enemies weapon and use against him, or fight with your knife… NEVER surrender.
Always stand by the will of the American People who have instilled their faith and trust in you.
After any mission, never stand around waiting to be thanked for doing what is expected of you, make yourself ready for the next attack or mission.
The American Flag is our nations banner, and it represents freedom, justice, and honor, never bring disgrace to it.
Your SEAL trident is your badge of honor; never bring disgrace to it or all those who have earned the right to wear it.
Never brag about what you have done on missions.
Fight hard, so that other will NOT have to return, and finish what you should have.
Stay true to our Code of Honor.
A life spent fighting for others, who cannot fight for themselves, is a life worth living... and it is a noble life. For only the weak believe that what we as SEALs do in battle, is who we are as men.
Remember to, that in the fight against tyranny, every SEAL death has a worth, and every SEAL brother will surely know of it.
